Women's Healthline
Staff involved: Stacey Masters Women's Health Statewide has approached SACHRU for advice and assistance in evaluating the Women's Healthline. The Women's Healthline is a health information service that can be accessed by telephone or email. Currently, the Healthline is staffed in the afternoons, Monday to Friday. An earlier evaluation (1999) found a high level of satisfaction amongst callers in respect to response times and the quality of information provided. Since that time, there has been a reduction in the hours that the Healthline is operational and staff are keen to explore what, if any, impact this has had on consumer satisfaction. Evaluation methods will include telephone interviews and a focus group discussion with Healthline staff. The evaluation commenced in June 2004 and aims to conclude by the end of September.
